Saudi Arabia has launched new electronic e-bracelets to ensure a safer and more organized Hajj experience for pilgrims. The initiative aims to streamline services and enhance security during one of the world’s largest annual religious gatherings.
The e-bracelets will contain personal information, medical history, and passport details, making it easier for authorities to identify and assist pilgrims in case of emergencies. They are also equipped with GPS tracking to help manage crowd movement more efficiently.
In addition, the devices offer multilingual guidance, allowing pilgrims from different countries to receive instructions and support in their own languages. This feature is expected to significantly improve communication during Hajj rituals.
To strengthen surveillance and safety, nearly 1,000 new cameras have been installed in and around the Grand Mosque. These upgrades reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to modernize Hajj management and ensure the well-being of millions of worshippers.
