Saudi Arabia Issues Weather Alert as Thunderstorms Hit Most Regions

Saudi Arabia is preparing for several days of unstable weather as thunderstorms are expected to sweep across nearly all regions of the kingdom. According to the National Center for Meteorology, heavy rainfall, dust storms and the risk of flash floods have prompted nationwide safety alerts.

The forecast indicates thunderstorms of varying intensity from Saturday, December 6, to Thursday, December 11. The affected regions include Asir, Al Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Jazan, Al Jouf, the Northern Borders, Riyadh and the Eastern Province.

Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious due to the potential for dangerous weather conditions.
