The recruitment process at the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology, established for the treatment of heart diseases, has been halted due to serious irregularities.

‎Following alleged irregularities in the recruitment process, the Specialized Healthcare Department took action and seized the recruitment-related record, after which the entire hiring process was put on hold. Due to the non-recruitment of doctors and other staff, the plan to make the institution operational is also being affected.

‎The Government of Punjab constructed this modern treatment facility for heart diseases at a cost of approximately 12 billion rupees. However, due to the absence of essential medical staff, the plan to inaugurate the institution has also been delayed.
