Sindh: 9 Deaths from Monkeypox Reported so Far

‎A total of 9 deaths from monkeypox have been reported in Sindh so far.

‎According to the spokesperson of the Sindh Health Department, a total of 122 suspected cases of monkeypox have been reported across the province, out of which 25 cases have been laboratory confirmed.

‎According to the Sindh Health Department, 2 new cases of monkeypox have been reported in the last 24 hours, including 1 from Karachi and 1 from Khairpur.

‎According to data, most cases have been reported from district Khairpur, where 18 confirmed cases have been recorded, while 3 cases have been reported from Sukkur and 4 from Karachi.

‎The Sindh Health Department has appealed to the public and medical staff to strictly follow precautionary measures, immediately approach the nearest hospital if symptoms appear, and take special care in handling newborn children.
