Sindh Minister Orders Probe Into Karachi Board Result Irregularities

Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahoo, has taken notice of the Karachi Board of Secondary Education’s failure to release detailed results for Class 9 examinations 2025.

The minister directed the board’s chairman to submit an explanation within three days, citing irregularities in the result announcement process. Instead of publishing total marks, subject-wise details, and grades, the board only released roll numbers of successful candidates through various sources.

Rahoo said that withholding marks and grades has caused distress among students and parents. He instructed the Controller of Examinations and IT In-Charge to provide a written report explaining the deviation from standard procedure and to identify those responsible.
