THATTA- A security guard of Sindh Minister Syed Riaz Hussain Shah was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on the minister’s vehicle in Thatta on Wednesday, as reported by Dunya News.
According to police, the minister was not present in the vehicle at the time of the attack. However, his cousin, who was inside the vehicle, narrowly escaped unhurt.
The assailants targeted the four-wheeler, fatally shooting the minister’s guard in the head before fleeing the scene. The body was shifted to a hospital for medicolegal formalities.
Police have launched an investigation from multiple angles and formed special teams to trace and arrest the culprits behind the attack.
