NASEERABAD — A powerful explosion struck the railway track near the Pit Feeder Canal in Naseerabad, killing a railway employee and disrupting train movement on Wednesday.

According to police, unidentified individuals planted a time bomb on the track, which detonated shortly before the Jaffar Express was scheduled to pass. The blast partially damaged the railway line, forcing authorities to halt passenger trains at nearby stations as a safety measure.

SSP Ghulam Sarwar confirmed that a railway worker lost his life in the explosion, while police and bomb disposal teams launched an immediate investigation into the incident.
