Six People Die of Rabies After Dog Bites in Karachi

Between May and August, six people died of rabies in Karachi after being bitten by dogs. According to hospital officials, three of the deceased were under treatment at Jinnah Hospital, while three others were receiving treatment at a trust hospital in Korangi.

‎Officials stated that the total number of rabies-related deaths in Sindh has reached 14 so far this year. Hospital authorities further informed that eight people died at Jinnah Hospital and six at the trust hospital in Korangi due to rabies.

‎According to hospital reports, more than 22,000 cases of dog bites have been reported across Sindh this year.
