The National Campaign For Protection Against Measles, Rubella, And Polio Will Continue Until November 29 ‎

The nationwide campaign for protection against measles, rubella, and polio is ongoing from November 17 to 29.

‎According to the spokesperson of the National EOC, 35.4 million children are being administered vaccines against measles and rubella during the campaign, while 19.4 million children in 90 high risk districts are being given polio drops.

‎The spokesperson stated that vaccines are being provided at government health centers, schools, madrassas, and temporary vaccination centers. In the first seven days, more than 10.4 million children were administered polio drops.

‎Similarly, 3.154 million children in Punjab, more than 3.522 million in Sindh, more than 2.463 million in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and over 1 million children in Balochistan have been given polio drops.

‎In addition, the spokesperson said that in Islamabad more than 192,000 children and in Gilgit Baltistan more than 77,000 children were administered anti polio drops.

‎The National EOC has appealed to parents to ensure their children receive polio drops in this and every future campaign. Protecting the nation’s future from polio is a national responsibility for every citizen.
