Three children suffering from a throat disease have died in the village of Anbar in Mehar, Dadu district. According to the District Health Officer Dadu, treatment of four children affected by the virus is ongoing at a hospital in Karachi.
DHO Dr Imdad Ali Shah said the children developed throat pain caused by a dangerous virus after having a fever, and the virus spread from one child to other children in the same family.
DHO Dadu Dr Imdad Shah expressed sorrow over the deaths of the children caused by the disease.
Meanwhile, Taluka Incharge Dr Muhammad Isa reached the village along with a health department team.
According to the taluka incharge, a health department team had been sent to the village for vaccination. Dr Muhammad Isa said that investigations are being carried out by the health department.
