‎A new study has found that the feature in Apple Watch that identifies signs of high blood pressure cannot replace a proper medical test.

‎Experts have warned that relying solely on this device for health alerts could be dangerous, as it may provide false reassurance.

‎They say people should continue to regularly check their blood pressure using a traditional blood pressure cuff machine.

‎Apple itself clarifies that its “high blood pressure notification feature” is not designed for diagnosing, treating, or monitoring any disease.

‎According to the company, this feature cannot be used to diagnose or manage conditions such as high blood pressure, blood clots, stroke, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, or cholesterol problems.
