ISLAMABAD: Motorists in Pakistan will receive further relief as the government has announced another reduction in petrol and high-speed diesel prices under the latest petroleum price revision.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has cut the petrol price by Rs6.59 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs346.
High-speed diesel (HSD) has also become cheaper by Rs4.25 per litre, taking its revised price to Rs378.
The latest adjustment follows the previous reduction announced on November 5, when petrol was reduced by Rs9.41 per litre to Rs352.59, while diesel fell by Rs5.56 to Rs382.25.
The revised rates will remain applicable until November 10, according to reports citing the OGRA notification.
The successive reductions have lowered fuel costs for motorists and other consumers across the country.
