The glittering trophy for the upcoming Pakistan–South Africa ODI series was officially unveiled on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, marking the return of international cricket to the city after 17 long years.

Pakistan’s ODI captain Shaheen Shah Afridi and South African skipper Matthew Breetzke jointly revealed the stunning silver trophy during the unveiling ceremony. Both captains expressed excitement and confidence ahead of what promises to be a thrilling three-match series.

The historic Iqbal Stadium, which last hosted an ODI on April 11, 2008, is set to come alive again as fans eagerly await top-class cricket action between the two sides.

According to the official schedule, the three ODIs will be played on November 4, 6, and 8, all at the same venue. This series is being seen as an important opportunity for both teams to test their combinations ahead of the next ICC cycle.

Officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Cricket South Africa (CSA) praised the spirit of sportsmanship and said the series would help strengthen bilateral cricketing relations.

Excitement among fans is already building, with Faisalabad preparing to host packed stands and electric atmospheres as Pakistan and South Africa battle for ODI supremacy.
