NEW YORK: Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the company behind Truth Social, has reportedly proposed charging Wall Street trading firms and investment companies up to $100,000 per month for premium access to the fastest feed of U.S. President Donald Trump’s Truth Social posts.
According to people familiar with the discussions, the service—marketed as Truth API—would provide subscribers with near real-time access to posts from key Truth Social accounts, including President Trump’s, milliseconds before they become widely available through standard channels. The company believes the service could help financial institutions react more quickly to market-moving announcements.
Sources said Trump Media also discussed offering a discounted rate of around $60,000 per month for customers willing to commit to a three-year subscription. While the company has officially announced the launch of Truth API, it has not publicly confirmed pricing details.
The proposal has sparked debate over whether privileged access to presidential social media posts could provide an unfair advantage to high-frequency traders and major financial firms. Critics argue that information capable of moving financial markets should be distributed equally, while supporters say the service is comparable to premium financial data feeds already sold in the market.
