Two Doctors at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Suspended Over Allegations of Prescribing Unnecessary Medicines for Commission

Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has suspended two doctors from Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The doctors were suspended following complaints of prescribing unnecessary medicines.

‎According to KMC officials, the suspended doctors from Abbasi Shaheed Hospital were alleged to have prescribed unnecessary medicines and received commission from the pharmacy.

‎The doctors suspended on the instructions of the Karachi Mayor include Nadeem Alam and Dr. Mudassir.
