Karachi: Two people, including a woman, were injured in separate firing incidents in different parts of the city on Monday.
In the first incident, unidentified assailants opened fire in Khameso Goth, New Karachi, leaving a woman injured. Rescue workers reached the scene shortly after the attack and shifted the victim to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The second incident occurred near Dua Restaurant at the New Sabzi Mandi along the Super Highway, where a man was injured in a firing incident. He was later moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
Police have launched inquiries into both incidents.
