LAHORE, August 28, 2025 — Two alleged members of the Shah Gang were fatally shot on Thursday during a planned operation by the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Lahore’s Manowal Chohang area.
According to CCD officials, the suspects—later identified as Hasnain and Omar—had been taking refuge in a residential compound when teams moved in to arrest them. A brief exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the deaths of both men.
Authorities noted that the duo had previously issued threats against CCD personnel on social media. Their remaining accomplices were neutralized in a separate encounter in Faisalabad earlier this month.
