The UAE Ministry of Education has launched a new digital tuition fee payment platform for expatriate students in government schools who lack Emirati ID cards or residency documents, Emarat Al Youm reported.
Parents can now pay directly through the ministry’s official website (www.moe.gov.ae) using the student’s ID number. The process involves nine steps, starting from logging in with UAE Pass to confirming the payable amount, after which an electronic receipt is generated.
The ministry clarified that manual deposits and direct transfers are no longer accepted, except through authorised charities, making the official portal the only valid payment channel.
In parallel, some schools have begun testing new dismissal procedures. Students may leave by bus, private car, or on foot—with written parental consent and an exit card for walkers.
Feedback surveys are being conducted to assess road safety, traffic flow, and schedule alignment, aiming to improve dismissal efficiency while ensuring student safety.
