The Virtual University of Pakistan has opened registration for a new batch of free online short courses aimed at helping learners develop digital, programming, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship skills.
According to the university’s announcement, registration for the courses began on August 31, 2026, and interested applicants can register until September 6, 2026. Online classes are scheduled to start from September 9, 2026.
The latest batch includes eight courses:
- Digital Awareness
- Python Essentials-1
- JavaScript Essentials-1
- Introduction to Cybersecurity
- Introduction to Modern AI
- Introduction to Data Science
- Discovering Entrepreneurship
- Digital Safety and Security Awareness
The courses will be conducted completely online and will run for approximately four to six weeks, allowing participants to learn remotely.
Interested learners can complete their registration through the Virtual University NetAcad portal before the September 6 deadline. The university has advised applicants to use its official platform for registration and course information.
