KARACHI (Staff Reporter): The menace of heavy traffic continues to claim lives in the city as a speeding trailer struck a motorcycle in Baldia Town No. 2, leaving a woman dead and a man injured.
According to police, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of Site-B Police Station, where a trailer bearing registration number TLY-776 lost control and rammed into a motorcycle.
As a result, 35-year-old Ghazala Shehzad, wife of Saeem, died on the spot, while 25-year-old Owais Muhammad Parvez sustained injuries.
Police and rescue teams reached the scene shortly after the accident and shifted the body and the injured to a nearby hospital.
Authorities said the trailer driver fled the scene, while an investigation is underway.
