‎16 Dengue Cases Reported in Punjab so Far this Year

Dengue cases are being reported across Punjab including Lahore, while malaria patients have also started to emerge in the city, and a total of 16 dengue cases have been reported in the province so far this year.

‎According to details, 3 dengue cases have been reported in the city so far this year. There is a possibility of an increase in dengue virus cases this year, while more than 1,000 dengue hotspots exist in the city.

‎According to Provincial Minister for Health and Population Khawaja Imran Nazir, 1,600 teams are being formed this year to control dengue. Indiscriminate actions will be taken under anti dengue measures, and a red sticker will be placed on any house where dengue larvae are found. He said that dengue spraying must be ensured in areas where dengue larvae or patients are reported.
