Punjab, including Lahore and surrounding regions, experienced heavy fog that severely disrupted daily life and road travel. The thick fog reduced visibility to dangerous levels across multiple routes.

Authorities closed Motorway M2 (Lahore–Hiran Minar) and M11 (Lahore,Sialkot) for all kinds of traffic to prevent accidents. The closures caused significant delays for commuters and transporters.

Motorway Police issued an advisory urging drivers to use fog lights, maintain low speed, and avoid unnecessary travel. They warned that poor visibility could pose serious risks on major highways.

Foggy conditions also impacted the National Highway and several other key road networks across the province. Officials are monitoring the situation and will reopen routes once visibility improves.
