The dengue threat continues as 34 cases have been confirmed in Rawalpindi since July. According to the District Health Authority, Rawal Town has reported the highest number with 19 cases.
Many dengue larvae have also been found in areas of Pothohar Division, mostly where people store water due to shortages, SAMAA News reported.
Health officials said dengue counters have been set up in hospitals and additional beds will be arranged if required.
