Renowned Pakistani filmmaker Nabeel Qureshi recently took a lighthearted dig at his close friend, actor and host Fahad Mustafa, after a clip of actor Babrak Shah went viral on social media.
In the TV show appearance, Babrak Shah openly shared his opinions about several actors. He described Fawad Khan as “overrated” and deemed Imran Abbas unsuitable for films. When it came to Fahad Mustafa, Babrak gave him just 5 out of 10 marks for acting, suggesting that Fahad is more suited as a television host than as a film hero.
According to Shah, Mustafa shines as a host in the same league as the legendary Tariq Aziz, but his acting “is not up to the mark.”
The remarks sparked conversations online, with many users sharing the clip widely. Amid the buzz, director Nabeel Qureshi joined in with a playful comment. Tagging Fahad Mustafa on Instagram, he wrote: “So brother, when will you learn acting?”
The tongue-in-cheek remark quickly went viral, drawing humorous reactions from fans who filled the comments section with jokes and memes.
While Babrak Shah’s critique stirred debate, the banter between Qureshi and Mustafa highlighted the mix of rivalry and camaraderie that often characterizes Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
