Lahore: Renowned fashion designer Maria B has landed in hot water as the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has launched an inquiry against her.
According to reports, a complaint was filed by Naeem Butt alias Seema Butt, accusing Maria B of spreading propaganda against the transgender community on social media. The petitioner claimed her statements were offensive and hurtful to the community.
Following the complaint, the NCCIA has initiated an inquiry and summoned Maria B on August 26.
