Singer Quratulain Balouch has released her first official statement following a bear attack during her recent visit to Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to a post shared on her Instagram account, Balouch had traveled to Baltistan to support flood relief and rehabilitation efforts alongside the Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS). She was participating in aid activities in affected villages when the incident occurred.
On the night of September 4, while resting inside a camp, a brown bear entered and attacked her. The CDRS team immediately intervened and managed to drive the animal away.
Balouch was rushed to a nearby medical facility where doctors confirmed her condition was stable, with no fractures or life-threatening injuries. Her team said she is recovering quickly.
Requesting privacy for the singer, her management urged fans to keep her in their prayers and announced that all public appearances have been postponed until she regains full health.
