Bollywood superstar Salman Khan sustained minor injuries while shooting action sequences for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan. The incident occurred during the film’s first schedule in Ladakh, where extreme weather and low oxygen levels made shooting highly challenging.
According to Indian media reports, the 45-day schedule demanded intense action performances. Salman Khan was present on set for nearly 15 days, filming under harsh conditions with temperatures dropping to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Despite sustaining injuries and experiencing breathing difficulties due to thin air, he continued shooting before taking a brief rest.
The production team confirmed that Khan has since recovered and has returned to Mumbai for the film’s second schedule.
Battle of Galwan is based on the 2020 military clash between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley. Alongside Salman Khan, the film also stars Chitrangada Singh and Abhilash Chaudhary. The release date has not been officially announced, but industry sources suggest a 2026 release.
