A concerning rise in the breeding of dengue mosquitoes has been recorded across Punjab, including Lahore.
According to the Health Department, 36 new confirmed cases of dengue have been reported across the province during the last 24 hours. In Lahore alone, 6 new patients have been identified, bringing the total number of confirmed dengue cases in Punjab to 1,214, while the number in Lahore has reached 196.
Health Department officials stated that the number of suspected dengue patients in Lahore is increasing rapidly, raising concerns that dengue cases may reach alarming levels this year.
