Increase in Dengue Cases Across Punjab Including Lahore, Total Reaches 1,214

A concerning rise in the breeding of dengue mosquitoes has been recorded across Punjab, including Lahore.

‎According to the Health Department, 36 new confirmed cases of dengue have been reported across the province during the last 24 hours. In Lahore alone, 6 new patients have been identified, bringing the total number of confirmed dengue cases in Punjab to 1,214, while the number in Lahore has reached 196.

‎Health Department officials stated that the number of suspected dengue patients in Lahore is increasing rapidly, raising concerns that dengue cases may reach alarming levels this year.
