Dengue cases rise in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as weather changes

With the change in weather, dengue cases have increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

‎According to details, during the last 24 hours, 95 people in KP have been diagnosed with dengue virus.

‎The total number of dengue cases reported this month has reached 1,273, while Charsadda, Mansehra, Haripur, Peshawar, Kohat, Swabi, and Mardan have been declared high risk districts for the virus.

‎According to the Health Department report, 23 new dengue patients have been admitted to various hospitals. Charsadda has reported the highest number of dengue cases in September.

‎The Health Department further stated that so far, 256 cases have been reported in Charsadda, 214 in Mansehra, 148 in Haripur, 122 in Peshawar, 99 in Kohat, 49 in Swabi, and 46 in Mardan.

‎Across the province, a total of 2,283 dengue cases have been confirmed this year, while no dengue related deaths have been reported so far.
