Karachi is expected to face extremely hot and humid conditions over the next 24 hours as the sea breeze remains suspended, weather experts warned on Tuesday.
According to the forecast, certain parts of the city may receive light showers, while areas on the outskirts could experience rain accompanied by thunder.
Meteorologists explained that a post-monsoon low-pressure system has interrupted the city’s usual sea breeze. The system, currently positioned over India’s Gujarat state, is likely to strengthen into a depression in the coming hours, which may further influence Karachi’s weather.
Authorities have urged residents to take precautions against the rising heat and humidity, while also staying alert for possible rainfall updates.
