KARACHI – The Sindh government has announced plans to introduce automation and an e-marking system across all educational boards to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accuracy in examinations.

The announcement was made by Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo during a ceremony organized by the All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association at Bahria Auditorium, Karachi, to mark World Teachers’ Day.

Rahoo said that the new system would computerize paper checking, minimize human error, and ensure quicker, more transparent results. He added that it would also make educational boards more modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly while helping eliminate cheating in exams.

He highlighted that thousands of teachers had been hired on merit and new universities established to expand educational opportunities.

During the event, more than 100 top-performing students received awards, and teachers were honored for their contributions to education.
