The Sindh government has approved the concession agreement for the NED Science and Technology Park Project, marking Pakistan’s first university-based science and technology park.

The state-of-the-art facility will be established within the premises of NED University and designed as an environmentally sustainable green building, officials confirmed on Saturday.

The agreement will be signed with Enertech Holding Company, a subsidiary of the Kuwait Investment Authority, under a government-to-government (G2G) public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement.

Officials said the project aims to foster innovation, research, and collaboration between academia and industry, positioning Karachi as a hub for technological advancement and entrepreneurship.
