After days of gloomy skies, parts of Britain may finally see a brief touch of warmth this weekend. Forecasters say Saturday could bring some brighter spells and milder temperatures, reaching around 15–17°C in southern and eastern areas.
However, the improvement won’t last long. Rain and blustery winds are expected to return by Sunday, keeping the overall weather pattern unsettled. While some headlines have hinted at a late “Indian Summer,” the Met Office says there’s no sign of a prolonged warm spell just a short-lived break in the autumn chill.
