Islamabad — The federal government has officially issued the gazette notification for the 27th Constitutional Amendment, marking the final step in bringing the amendment into effect after its approval from both houses of Parliament.
According to officials, the amendment has now become part of the Constitution and will be implemented immediately. The notification outlines the structural and administrative changes approved earlier, aimed at improving coordination between federal and provincial institutions.
Legal experts say the publication of the gazette gives “legal life” to the amendment and opens the door for new administrative transitions in relevant departments. Government representatives have termed it a “milestone in the reform process.”
