The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration unit at Islamabad International Airport foiled an attempt by a passenger to travel to Europe using forged documents. According to officials, the passenger was offloaded during immigration clearance after discrepancies were detected in his papers.

The FIA spokesperson stated that the traveler, identified as Ahmed Raza, was scheduled to fly to France on flight PK-749. During the inspection, the immigration staff found his documents suspicious.

Further verification revealed that the Polish residence card presented by the passenger was counterfeit. He was subsequently handed over to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad for legal proceedings.
