According to the National Emergency Operations Centre, the final nationwide polio eradication campaign of 2025 will be conducted from December 15 to 21.
According to the National EOC, more than 45 million children will be protected from lifelong disability through the polio eradication campaign.
Over 400,000 frontline polio workers will perform their duties in the campaign, and in Punjab, more than 23 million children will be administered polio drops.
According to the National EOC, more than 10.6 million children in Sindh will receive polio drops.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 7.2 million children, in Balochistan 2.6 million children, and in Islamabad more than 460,000 children will be administered polio drops.
According to the National EOC, in Gilgit-Baltistan 228,000 children and in Azad Jammu and Kashmir more than 760,000 children will receive polio drops.
Parents have been urged to cooperate with polio workers and ensure their children are vaccinated, and to complete the full immunisation course for all children from birth to 15 months on time.
