Karachi: A suspected robber was injured while another was arrested without resistance during an alleged police encounter near the Qaidabad bridge in the Shah Latif Town area on Monday.
According to rescue officials, the injured suspect was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment, where he was identified as Hammad.
Police stated that the second suspect, identified as Nasir, was taken into custody and moved to the police station.
Authorities recovered a pistol, two mobile phones, cash, and a motorcycle from the possession of the detained suspects.
The investigation is underway to determine the suspects’ involvement in recent street-crime incidents in the area.
