Smog has now become an annual environmental issue and affects the health of millions of people every year, but by adopting a few very simple measures, many of the health problems caused by it can be reduced.

‎To protect health from problems caused by smog, the following easy steps can be helpful.

‎1. Keep drinking small amounts of water throughout the day, and it is better if the water is at room temperature, meaning it should not be very cold.

‎2. Increasing the intake of hot beverages such as tea, coffee, or green tea is also extremely beneficial.

‎3. Do not leave home without having breakfast, as breakfast is essential for immediately boosting the immune system, and avoid staying hungry continuously for 7 to 8 hours.

‎4. While going outside, cover yourself properly, and if you are going to the office, perform ablution as soon as you arrive so that the effects of smog are cleared from your nose and throat. Similarly, when you return home from the office, take a shower immediately and inhale steam.

‎5. Avoid drinking cold juice, water, or milk before going to bed at night. If it is necessary to drink any beverage before sleeping, make sure it is at room temperature or warm.
