A fraud incident was reported within the jurisdiction of Naulakha Police Station in Lahore, where an unidentified suspect deceived an elderly woman and escaped with her gold earrings and cash.
According to police sources, the suspect approached the victim, identified as Allah Rakhi, and falsely informed her that money had been received in her name. Using this pretext, the suspect took the woman a short distance away from her residence.
Police said the suspect convinced the elderly woman to remove her earrings and also took Rs15,000 in cash before fleeing the scene.
A case has been registered at Naulakha Police Station, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest the suspect.
