Karachi: Gold prices in Karachi registered a fresh increase on Monday, according to the Pakistan Sarafa Market. The price of 24-karat gold rose to Rs 465,100 per tola, reflecting continued volatility in the local bullion market.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs 398,755, while the per gram rate stood at Rs 39,875. Market data further showed that 22-karat gold was priced at Rs 36,549 per gram, whereas 21-karat gold traded at Rs 34,890 per gram.

Bullion market experts attribute the upward trend to fluctuations in the international gold market along with increased domestic demand, noting that global economic uncertainty continues to influence precious metal prices.
