Pakistan has lodged a strong diplomatic protest with the United Kingdom over recent developments taking place on British soil, summoning the Acting British High Commissioner to the Foreign Office and issuing a formal demarche.

According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andarabi, the British diplomat was informed about Pakistan’s serious concerns regarding incidents in Bradford, where protests were held outside Pakistan’s Consulate and highly provocative remarks were reportedly made against Pakistan’s civilian and military leadership.

Pakistan described these actions as unacceptable, stressing that hostile and threatening rhetoric cannot be ignored. The Foreign Office expressed deep concern over the misuse of British territory for inflammatory and violent political messaging.

Authorities in Islamabad urged the UK government to investigate the matter, identify those responsible, and take legal action in accordance with British law. Pakistan emphasized that friendly nations should not serve as platforms for campaigns that undermine another country’s institutions or leadership.

The spokesperson further stated that Pakistan will not tolerate activities that promote hatred or threaten national interests, adding that respect, responsible conduct, and diplomatic norms must prevail.

Government officials also confirmed that a formal communication has already been sent to UK authorities regarding the viral video circulating on social media, which allegedly contained serious threats. They further stated that the matter transcends politics and concerns the safety, dignity, and sovereignty of the state.
