Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the authorities to ensure the early completion of new hospitals and has set deadlines for the completion of Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and the Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Institute in Sargodha, along with other projects.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has instructed that the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Institute and Jinnah Cardiology Institute in Lahore be opened within the current month. The basement and ground floor of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Center have been completed, while waiting areas for patients, a mosque, and doctors’ residences have also been completed.
Pakistan’s first Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Center will be inaugurated this month. Recruitment of doctors and professional staff has already begun. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also ordered that the construction of Lady Willingdon Hospital be completed as soon as possible. She said that the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research Center will provide treatment to every cancer patient coming from across Pakistan.
