Pakistan Showcases Tech and Blockchain Vision at Web Summit Qatar

Pakistan was represented at the world’s largest technology conference, Web Summit Qatar, by Minister of State and PVRA Chairman Bilal Bin Saqib. Addressing the summit, he highlighted Pakistan’s vision for the digital economy and technology-driven growth.

Bilal Bin Saqib presented Pakistan’s stance on the practical use of blockchain in emerging economies. He emphasized the role of the country’s young population, remittances, and the digital economy, calling youth Pakistan’s greatest asset.

At Web Summit Qatar, Pakistan was projected as an emerging hub for technology and blockchain. The country’s growing startup ecosystem and potential in the digital sector were also highlighted during the event.

Bilal Bin Saqib attended a networking reception hosted by the Pakistani Embassy in Doha as a special guest. He was also invited to a dinner hosted in honor of Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
