On the occasion of Basant, a high alert has been issued in all teaching hospitals across the city.
Additional stocks of medicines, blood, and disposables have been delivered to the emergency departments of Lahore’s teaching hospitals, while special beds have also been reserved for patients arriving in emergency.
According to MS Services Hospital Dr. Imran Zaidi, special arrangements for Basant in the emergency department have been completed, and a separate ward has been set up for patients coming during Basant.
He said that a special duty roster of doctors, nurses, and paramedics has been prepared in Services Hospital, and all government instructions are being fully implemented during the Basant festival.
