Monkeypox has been confirmed in a female resident of Shujaabad at Nishtar Hospital.
According to the spokesperson of Nishtar Hospital, the woman affected by monkeypox is under treatment in the isolation ward, while a resident of Muzaffargarh who is suffering from monkeypox and HIV is already present in the isolation ward.
The number of patients under treatment for monkeypox at Nishtar Hospital has increased to two, and special precautionary measures are being continued in the isolation ward by the administration.
