Monkeypox Confirmed in Female Resident of Shujaabad

Monkeypox has been confirmed in a female resident of Shujaabad at Nishtar Hospital.

‎According to the spokesperson of Nishtar Hospital, the woman affected by monkeypox is under treatment in the isolation ward, while a resident of Muzaffargarh who is suffering from monkeypox and HIV is already present in the isolation ward.

‎The number of patients under treatment for monkeypox at Nishtar Hospital has increased to two, and special precautionary measures are being continued in the isolation ward by the administration.
