The second nationwide anti polio campaign of 2026 has been successfully completed, during which more than 44.7 million children were administered polio drops.
Due to the tireless efforts of polio workers, the vaccine reached more than 44.7 million children, while over 23 million children were vaccinated against polio in Punjab.
In Sindh, more than 10.4 million children were given polio drops, while in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa more than 7.222 million children were vaccinated. In Balochistan, more than 2.62 million children received polio drops.
In Islamabad, more than 441,000 children were administered polio drops. In Gilgit Baltistan, more than 292,000 children were vaccinated.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, approximately 717,000 children were given polio drops.
