Heart disease has become the leading cause of death worldwide, but experts say that adopting healthy daily habits can significantly reduce this risk.

‎Health experts state that heart health is not limited to preventing diseases but also includes maintaining balanced lifestyle habits. Therefore, experts have presented the following recommendations:

‎Balanced diet: Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and healthy fats that are beneficial for the heart, while it is important to avoid processed foods and those high in salt or fat.

‎Leafy green vegetables such as spinach, fruits like bananas, blueberries, and strawberries, grains made from chickpeas, oats, and brown rice, and foods like avocados, walnuts, flaxseeds, and fish such as salmon or sardines are considered heart healthy. Processed meats, fried foods, sweets, sodas, trans fats, and salty foods should be consumed in limited quantities.

‎Regular exercise: A brisk 30 minute walk, cycling, or swimming daily improves heart health.

‎Stress management: Meditation, deep breathing, listening to music, or spending time in nature helps reduce stress.

‎Good sleep: Sleeping 7 to 9 hours every night reduces the risk of heart disease.

‎Avoid harmful habits: Smoking is one of the biggest threats to heart health and must be avoided.

‎Regular check ups: Monitoring blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar helps in the early detection of diseases.

‎Experts say that these small but consistent habits can help keep the heart strong and healthy throughout life.
