Security forces conducted multiple intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 8 terrorists while one soldier embraced martyrdom during fierce encounters.

According to ISPR, three terrorists were eliminated in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, during a targeted operation. In South Waziristan, two more were killed, but during the exchange of fire, 40-year-old Naik Mujahid Khan, a resident of Kohat, laid down his life in the line of duty.

Further clashes in Khyber and Bannu districts resulted in the deaths of three additional terrorists. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the slain militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple attacks on both civilians and security forces.

ISPR reaffirmed the military’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and stated that such sacrifices only strengthen national resolve. A clearance operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats.
