The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpur has postponed the ongoing first annual intermediate examinations across the region until further notice due to disruptions caused by a lockdown called by the Public Action Committee.
According to board officials, the decision was taken to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of examinations amid the prevailing situation. The board stated that the exams will remain suspended until conditions improve and administrative arrangements can be restored.
Students, parents, and educational institutions have been advised to stay updated through official announcements regarding revised examination schedules. Fresh dates for the postponed papers will be announced once normalcy returns across the region.
Education officials said the postponement is expected to affect thousands of students who were appearing in the first annual intermediate examinations throughout AJK.
